With manicured gardens and spectacular fountains, the Plaza of the Myrtle Beach Convention Center is the perfect place to showcase our warm ocean breezes and create some energy at your great event. The Plaza is also a great spot for press conferences, small concerts and all types of celebrations looking for that special touch of nature's beauty. Large tents for entertaining and assemblies can be accommodated on the Plaza as well.
Here are some details related to planning events on the Plaza:
- Rental of Plaza is $500 per event, per day, which includes seating for up to 100 people. Additional seating is available at $5.00 per seat.
- Electrical power – up to 6,000 watts of power is available.
- Portable sound (public address) system is available at $200 per event per day.
- Food and Beverage service on the Plaza is provided exclusively by the catering department of the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel and menus are available upon request.
- Indoor space must to secured in order to accommodate your event in the event of inclement weather.
