Margie welcomes each person contacting the Myrtle Beach Convention Center with her southern charm, since March 27, 1991. As our Administrative Office Assistant she performs an array of duties-managing and operating our front office, providing event details to all inquires, assisting our GM, maintaining up to the minute event names and dates on the super sign outside, staff payroll, and makes sure our facility runs in tip top shape.
Most importantly… she simply enjoys life and as a farm girl from Tennessee, she hasn’t forgotten how to drive tractors and bulldozers, herd cows, and ride horses and 4-wheelers. She is a passionate artist; however as a new grandmother she has traded in her oil and acrylic paints and canvas for Crayola Washable Watercolors.
