Every year we love coming to Myrtle Beach for our event. It seems that ALL staff members of the convention center and Sheraton alike are always willing to help us out in any way that they can. It is much appreciated. I tried to jot down some names of staff members that showed exemplary customer service. From Security: Kaitlyn, Neil, Tom Tracey, Tom, Karen, Paula, Terry, Jerry, Larry, Bobby, everyone that I dealt with was very helpful, I apologize for not having all of their names. Electricians, Lynn, Clint, Zeke, in fact all of them, I know I'm missing names. We sincerely appreciate all of the help that everyone provides us! Click Here to see the entire survey.

Gaither Studios

Brianna Dill, GM & Post-Production Coordinator for Gaither Studios

The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is an ideal location for Gaither Fest, our annual concert weekend attended by thousands of people from across the United States and beyond. The venue's spacious walkways, generous seating, not to mention quick access to lodging, the ocean, and seemingly limitless dining options, has helped us make Gaither Fest a highly anticipated gathering place each October!

I have worked with Myrtle Beach Convention Center for four years as a sponsor of the Meetings Industry Council of Colorado. They have been a first rate sponsor to work with and their exhibit booth is always creative and eye catching to all our attendees! We look forward to our continued sponsorship with our partner Myrtle Beach!

South Carolina Environmental Conference

Cindy Presson, SCAWWA & WEASC

Customer service and attention to detail by the Sheraton and MBCC staff is exemplary. The facility is wonderful and the staff amazing; their job is conferences/conventions and they do it well. Our conference ran more smoothly this year than it ever has; we had no idea what we were missing until we came to the MBCC!

All of the staff at the hotel and convention center was very friendly and always ready to help with any need we had. From the loading dock staff to the banquet setup folks, everybody was very friendly . We are planning to return to Myrtle Beach in 2012. The Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel is the perfect venue for us. We love the city, and our attendees will be excited to return.

 NPMA--Leaders in Asset Management

Maria Maggio, NPMA--Leaders in Asset Management

We held our annual convention, NPMA’s National Education Seminar, which consisted of 650 attendees at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel. We had a great experience working with both the hotel and the convention center. The staff that I worked with was professional, friendly and wonderful to work with. They had a huge part of making our event a successful one. The hotel/convention center is reasonably priced. The destination makes it easy to drive to the area from several major cities. There are certainly plenty of shopping, restaurant and entertainment venues nearby with Broadway at the Beach, local sports games, and an enormous amount of golf courses and of course—the beach! What I particularly enjoyed about the area is the southern hospitality; it was truly evident in the area. Our group enjoyed the area and we hope to return sometime!

Mutual Drug

Phil Gooch, Mutual Drug

Susan, Ursula, Melissa, Frankie, I appreciate all you do for Mutual Drug during our function.
Event planning and execution can be challenging. This year marked my 25th show so I have a few under my belt. The last seven with MBCC have surpassed all the previous shows. You and your staff have always preformed beyond expectation. Ursula told me a couple of weeks back that she would be out of town, but was leaving me in good hands. I told her then and I reiterate, she’s right, I have no worries.

I have done many shows all over the US, and the MBCC staff is probably the most efficient, and helpful group I have had the pleasure of dealing with. First, the security staff is always helpful and has the customer's needs in mind... Bobby, Paula, Teri, Karen, Otto, Tom and Ralph (In fact, all the security personnel were great!) . Each of these individuals were great to work with and helped make sure the doors were locked/unlocked in a timely manner, and helped with the parking lot each day. To note, Bobby, went above and beyond as always! The electricians, Russell, Zeke, Lynn were a pleasure as always, going above and beyond to make sure exhibitors were happy and were very proficient at helping out. Lynn deserves a big thank you for helping out with our registration connectivity. (All electrician personnel were helpful!) Again, I know I have forgotten names, but everyone that we dealt with deserves a big THANK YOU. It was a pleasure working with everyone at the MBCC. Click Here to see the entire survey.

Our spring show in Myrtle Beach, SC, was our largest show yet. About 200 were in attendance to enjoy the sights and hospitality of Myrtle Beach. Danna Lilly with the Myrtle Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau and Ursula Wither spoon with the Myrtle Beach Convention Center were out gracious hostesses. Thank you, Danna and Ursula, for a fantastic job! The Myrtle Beach show holds many fond memories.
