About Compassion Through Fashion
When life takes and unexpected turn, we stand ready to meet the needs of those in crisis.
Our mission is to help people recover from the crises of homelessness, poverty, and addiction by providing basic needs, connections to resources, and community support.
Compassion Through Fashion is New Directions’ signature artistic fashion show and fundraiser featuring designs made of recycled, repurposed, or unusual materials. Creative individuals, businesses, community groups, churches, and schools, design and model entries in the competitive fashion show to win awards determined by a panel of local celebrity judges and the audience.

In addition to the show, guests can enjoy drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, photobooth, and entertainment.

The SCAMLE Conference is held annually in Myrtle Beach, SC. The first weekend of March has been reserved for 46 years as the largest and only single gathering for middle-level educators in South Carolina! With more than 1000 attendees and more than 125 sessions, the conference is one of the largest gatherings of talented educators who dedicate themselves to working with young adolescent learners.

What is ASB?
The Association of Southeastern Biologists promotes the advancement of biology as a science by supporting research and education, using knowledge to solve biological problems, and preserving biological resources.

Since 1937, our Annual Meeting has served as a crucial step in the STEM-Student Pipeline, giving seasoned researchers a venue to share their knowledge and a place for upcoming biologists, who will proceed to advanced degrees and careers in academia and industry, their first experience presenting science. We provide a friendly space to receive feedback, learn about job and graduate school opportunities, and meet experts in the field.

Spirit Sports is the TOTAL experience in cheerleading and dance competitions at a price that is affordable to everyone.
