Through collaboration with partners like Meeting Professionals International, Google, alongside two of our valued community partners - SOS Care Oak Tree Farm and Italian American Heritage Charitable Council - we're proud to lead with purpose.

We are thrilled to share an exciting new addition to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center (MBCC): The Serenity Spectrum Space. This purposefully designed room, equipped with mood lighting, sensory kits, and Bluetooth connectivity for your desired soundscape, is our latest enhancement - created for any attendee who is neurodivergent or experiencing sensory overload, offering a quiet, calming place to renew, restore, and regulate during your event.

Being neurodivergent refers to individuals whose brains function differently from what is considered typical - this includes those on the autism spectrum, as well as individuals with ADHD, sensory processing differences, and more. These unique perspectives bring tremendous value to events, and providing a space for comfort and decompression ensures they feel not just welcomed, but truly appreciated and supported.

The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is proud to be the only convention center on the East Coast with a space specifically created for the neurodivergent community. This initiative reflects a powerful collaboration and aligns with our mission to prioritize accessibility, inclusion, and well-being for all.

Let's make your next event even more inclusive - be sure to share this space with your attendees and exhibitors. It's one more reason why the Myrtle Beach Convention Center should be at the top of your venue shortlist, and a meaningful step forward in creating experiences where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.
