One of our member Societies, Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities, hosted its 2018 Annual Meeting at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in April 2018. The meeting went very well and our attendees had a great time in Myrtle Beach. The foyer outside of the Exhibit Hall has plenty of space for registration/reception/breaks with a lot of nature light in the daytime. The venue was cost-effective for us. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center (MBCC) staff were wonderful to work with – They were very helpful and flexible in meeting all of our needs.

All of the staff at the hotel and convention center was very friendly and always ready to help with any need we had. From the loading dock staff to the banquet setup folks, everybody was very friendly . We are planning to return to Myrtle Beach in 2012. The Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center (MBCC) Hotel is the perfect venue for us. We love the city, and our attendees will be excited to return.

We held our annual convention, NPMA’s National Education Seminar, which consisted of 650 attendees at the Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center (MBCC) Hotel. We had a great experience working with both the hotel and the convention center. The staff that I worked with was professional, friendly and wonderful to work with. They had a huge part of making our event a successful one. The hotel/convention center is reasonably priced. The destination makes it easy to drive to the area from several major cities. There are certainly plenty of shopping, restaurant and entertainment venues nearby with Broadway at the Beach, local sports games, and an enormous amount of golf courses and of course—the beach! What I particularly enjoyed about the area is the southern hospitality; it was truly evident in the area. Our group enjoyed the area and we hope to return sometime!

This year marked my 25th show so I have a few under my belt. The last seven with MBCC have surpassed all the previous shows. You and your staff have always preformed beyond expectation. Ursula told me a couple of weeks back that she would be out of town, but was leaving me in good hands. I told her then and I reiterate, she’s right, I have no worries.

I have done many shows all over the US, and the MBCC staff is probably the most efficient, and helpful group I have had the pleasure of dealing with. First, the security staff is always helpful and has the customer's needs in mind... Bobby, Paula, Teri, Karen, Otto, Tom and Ralph (In fact, all the security personnel were great!) . Each of these individuals were great to work with and helped make sure the doors were locked/unlocked in a timely manner, and helped with the parking lot each day. To note, Bobby, went above and beyond as always! The electricians, Russell, Zeke, Lynn were a pleasure as always, going above and beyond to make sure exhibitors were happy and were very proficient at helping out. Lynn deserves a big thank you for helping out with our registration connectivity. (All electrician personnel were helpful!)
