Brian Monroe
General Manager
Contact BrianNamed General Manager on March 2019, Brian enthusiastically meets all event planners, oversees the operation of the facility, and provides knowledgeable support to Sales and Marketing, Administration, Operations, Engineering, and Convention Services divisions. Prior to advancing to General Manager, Brain led the Sales and Marketing team from 2005 to February 28, 2019. He is not shy to the hospitality industry, as a 30+-year veteran, he has specialized in convention center industry since 1992.
Brian and his wife Beth and their three sons make the Pawley's Island community their home and enjoy long walks on the beach and learning about low country horticulture. When he is not working, his number one hobby is musical composition. Brian's love for music runs deep; he has been a featured soloist with the Long Bay Symphony and instrumental in the forming of the Grand Strand Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
